Designed for recording kick drums
Sontronics’ DM-1B is a large-diaphragm, end-fire condenser microphone. It was created particularly to capture and replicate the unique features of a kick drum. So, whether it’s the beater click, the powerful thud, the boomy decay, and so on, this microphone provides excellent kick drum micing.
A sturdy microphone
The DM-1B features a switchable -15dB pad, allowing the microphone to handle up to 155 dB. This microphone’s strong construction and aluminum flight allow it to be used on both live stages and in the studio.
