MODX M offers up to 268 notes of polyphony across its three engines:

– PRESET WAVE AND FLASH MEMORY UPGRADE: MODX M offers approx. 2x the memory over MODX/MODX+ with an increase from 5.68 GB to 10.7 GB of AWM2 memory, and 1.9 GB of User flash memory.
– VCM ROTARY SPEAKER: The VCM Rotary Speaker effect simulates the rich and enveloping motion of a classic rotary speaker cabinet.

HIGH RESOLUTION CONTROL
The MODX M Knobs, Super Knob, Pitch Bend, Mod Wheel, and Sound Engine – are now High Resolution. Because of the fine resolution, you’ll find the MODX M performs smoother than its predecessors.

EXPANDED SOFTSYNTH PLUGIN (ESP)
Free for all registered MODX M owners, the Expanded Softsynth Plugin (ESP) replicates MODX M in your favorite Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). ESP lets you to create, edit and mix performances anywhere you happen to be – without the hardware – offering an unprecedented level of stage and studio integration.
*ESP for MODX M will be available from JAN 2026.

Upgraded navigation enables quick, intuitive sound editing and operation. You’ll find features like a color touch screen, 6 display knobs, and Stereo A/D input with 2 insertion effects.
USB MIDI 2.0 AND MULTICHANNEL AUDIO INTERFACE
Simplifying your studio setup, MODX M offers a USB MIDI and multichannel 10 output/4 input audio interface in 44.1kHz. Streamline MIDI recording, virtual instrument monitoring, and multi-track audio recording through a single USB cable, so you can spend more time being creative.
MIDI 2.0 delivers high resolution data for note velocity, Super Knob, pitch bend, modulation.
CUBASE AI
Cubase AI provides the basic tools for recording, editing and mixing – from the initial idea to the final masterpiece. It’s the perfect entry into the world of Digital Audio Workstations (DAW), offering powerful, yet easy-to-use software tools for all genres.
