The OD505 WL1 is skilfully calibrated to highlight the qualities of lead and background vocals with little adjustments from FOH engineers, technicians, or artists.

This super cardioid, active-dynamic capsule employs the company’s Open Acoustic technology to ensure that your voice stands out from the crowd. The proximity effect is optimized to keep your voice’s tonally open character consistent at different distances from the mic and with variations in mic technique. Each OD505 WL1 capsule is hand-built in Vienna and then measured and adjusted in the anechoic room.
