Austrian Hi-X50 – Custom Drivers for Maximum Sonic Accuracy
The Austrian Audio Hi-X50 are on-ear, closed-back headphones designed to fulfil the needs of high-resolution audio production, whether in home studios or on the road. The patented 44mm drivers use copper-clad aluminium voice coils and a unique ring magnet construction to provide a frequency response ranging from 5 Hz to 28 kHz. The on-ear design allows for a lower earcup size than over-ear headphones, while the memory foam earpads provide pleasant usage for extended periods. The Hi-X50 headphones may be folded for compact storage and easy transportation. The detachable single-sided cable has a 3.5mm TRS small connector for use with mobile devices and a 1/4″ converter for professional mixers, headphone amps, and audio interfaces.

The Hi-X50 stands out for its lack of discomfort. Austrian Audio employed soft, slow-retention memory foam for the earpads, ensuring comfortable listening even over lengthy periods. And, because they eliminated distortion from the design, you may monitor all night without experiencing any hearing fatigue.
